Pretty great stuff in the first hour, full of moments with the capacity to make you laugh and cringe simultaneously. The more serious tone kicking off the back half feels pale in comparison (damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation where the overall message on how people are impacted by alcoholism wouldn’t land if these scenes weren’t included). It all gels together overall, and that ending is bangers! Give Mads the Oscar, you cowards!!
