  This is most definitely one of the finest films I didn’t particularly like. I can’t put it into proper words, but beyond the gorgeous cinematography, not much stayed with me after. I watched it the day of the Oscars 2019, thinking it would become one of my favourites, as it’s by one of my absolute favourite directors, whose last three films prior to Roma were indeed amongst my favourites... but I just didn’t connect with this one, and I’m confused as to why.

  This film is begging for a theatrical release, but the goddamn Disney overlords are fucking wack as shit! This film is fucking great, which is a first for the Predator franchise since 1987!
