Kate K.’s review published on Letterboxd:
Beautiful and deceptively simple. I think this might be my favorite Reichardt film, which may be recency bias. But it felt so coherent and realistic and interesting. It moved slowly, but not too slowly (ahem Wendy and Lucy ahem -- but I should probably re-watch that before I judge it too harshly).
Also, John Magaro's portrayal of Cookie might end up ranking in my top performances of the yea. Thanks to Adam from Filmspotting for making sure I didn't overlook it; it's so un-showy, it's easy to overlook.
Edited to add: Last movie I saw in the theaters before they were closed due to COVID-19!
