"You cut him! You hurt him! You see? You see? He's not a machine, he's a man!"
Rocky IV: Rocky vs. Drago, the director's cut. One night. One show only.
It was such a blast to see this in theaters for the first time with a packed crowd. Some of Stallone's choices were a little odd, but I didn't really care about any of that. I just wanted to watch this (any version) on the big screen.
During an early scene with a dialogue exchange between Rocky & Apollo, the guy next to me turns to his friend and says "Do you know who that is? That's Creed's father from the new movies." Oh boy, I thought to myself... it's gonna be a long night. Luckily, it was a one time thing and he didn't explain anything else throughout the movie.
Side note: Apparently there was a 30 minute live interview with Stallone before the film started, but at my screening there must have been some issues because the interview cut out after 3 minutes and the movie started. So that sucked.
