  • Shrek

I watched this whole film in 360 VR view off a 40mb compressed webm and I think I don't like movies anymore

  • Street Trash

    Street Trash

This movie is like if the homeless guy in Mulholland Drive was the main character

  • The Ninth Configuration

    The Ninth Configuration

"If you died on the moon, would that be fucked up?"
    - William Peter Blatty, 1980

  • South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

I've been pretending South Park ended over a decade ago so I can't say anything about how pathetic its gotten by now, or comment on the weak politics of its creators. I do still have a very vivid memory of my dad putting this on when me and my siblings were all around 10 years old, and just before it started my mom said "Are we sure this is appropriate for them?"

To which my dad responds "It's a tv…

  • Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

I started watching Logan's Run with some friends, but someone jokingly challenged me to put on all 3 Austin Powers movies in a row instead when it was already midnight but I ain't no coward so this is my and everyone else's night now.

  • This Film Is Not Yet Rated

This Film Is Not Yet Rated

Think this probably needs an update. That circle of how much of the industry Disney owns is probably a liiiitle bit bigger now.

  • Last Action Hero

    Last Action Hero

There's a part in here where, during a tracking shot, you can see the entire camera crew in the reflection of a window for a brief moment, and we had a 20 minute debate on whether it was intentional or not.

  • Mad Dog Morgan

    Mad Dog Morgan

Need a Coen bros True Grit style remake of this that's also starring Dennis Hopper in the exact same role

  • Deathstalker II

    Deathstalker II

  • Fresh

At about 1h 36m into the movie, while driving in the car, a reflection of the car's speedometer slowly moves across the windshield, as if it were a street light they were passing under.

I've seen thousands of movies. I've worked on the sets of films that shot scenes inside moving cars. I have no possible guess for how or why this happens.

If anyone has the answer, I am begging you for it. It is truly wrecking my mind trying to figure out what I'm looking at here.

  • Amélie

goddamn this shit is French as HELL

  • The Guardian

    The Guardian

Friedkin should have stayed exclusively a horror and drama/thriller director. He has a unique eye for holding suspense and creating a shocking moment (wasn't expecting this to be so explosively gory), but his weakest quality is definitely in the weird vibes his lighter scenes give off. Something about them feels artificial, like plastic. The Guardian showcases both ends of this spectrum in jarringly contrasting scene changes. It's rough but I think the good outweighs the bad.

Also a dude gets eaten by a fucking tree with a giant mouth.
