    I think I get what Brooks was going for with this, but without the ripping satire and manic energy his early films had a seemingly infinite supply of, this is mostly a pretty dull watch.     Who on Earth did they think this would be for? There's more guns in it than a Scorsese gangster film. Gnorm is ugly as fuck and gets horny in multiple scenes. There's deaths and violence and full on corpse comedy gags.
