Every horror franchise has that one installment that is so far beyond all the others - most of the time it's the original, but when it comes to Freddy Krueger, Dream Warriors is the masterpiece. The dream scenes, the kids and their deaths, and Freddy himself are perfect. Heather Langenkamp and John Saxon come back - we find out how Freddy came to be - "the bastard son of a hundred maniacs." So so good.
