Incredible story, but it’s just that. It’s not some beautifully crafted narrative, artistic depictions, or hard hitting interviews. It’s an incredible story and I give them so much credit for capturing the tension and insanity of the moment. However, there were times were I was truly confused and I would’ve loved some discussion of how the boys felt. That was nearly as amazing to me as the rescue, how did those boys freaking survive. It’s a great documentary but not because of anything the directors did.
