  This film is not just a disappointing flop, but I feel that it’s also regressive.
  While I was sitting in the theatre and the group of mid sixty year olds next to me laughed at offensive Asian cultural appropriation and mockery, I was certain that they were seeing the wrong movie and a condemning commentary on how gross and careless things were in the seventies was going over their heads.
