Kate’s review published on Letterboxd:
The characters in Knives Out were caricatures, but they weren’t as exaggerated as they are with Glass Onion, and the difficulty with modelling fictional caricatures on real life caricatures is that the embellishments become so absurd and annoying that the characters do too. In short, I know I’m meant to hate everyone but I really hate them and couldn’t stand being around them, which is problematic for a 140 minute film.
Each star is for Daniel Craig, who is exceptional as a goofy little detective in his fabulous little swimsuit. I love this phase of his career.
