  Zack, buddy, we need to talk. Too many lady deaths, too soon. Yikes, bud. I'm all for equality, but some of your dudes died way too off-screen or slowly while the ladies all died pretty brutal. What's up, man? You're making me worry about you.

  Maybe I just like Patrick Brice’s style, ‘cause this was not that bad. Cliched for sure, but the actors were competent. I was expecting a trash fire and I got a perfectly serviceable film instead.

  Jane fucking stood by her man while he tried to exorcise his ex. She is the unchallenged MVP, and she deserves way better than that sack of shit.

  The opening credits and score were perfection. I also loved how grainy the picture was, it was a nice touch.

  God, I felt that last shot.

  This movie felt like curling up in a blanket with a mug of hot cocoa in front of a wood stove while simultaneously lying out in the sun at a picnic with the most decadent spread of beautiful and tantalizing confections. It’s beautiful. It’s warm. It’s comforting. It’s seductive. It’s enchanting. It’s haunting.

  I don’t know if I can say anything about this film that hasn’t already been said. I understand the Timothée Chalamet love now. I adored Michael Stuhlbarg in this, as I always do. The other performances were strong as well. I feel like I’ve been blessed.
