Best ab workout I've had in a while; the jokes don't stop.

Wasn't sure what to think about it when I walked out of the screening, but man, I think I might love it? It's good to go into this as blind as possible, but it makes for a somewhat dissonant experience as you go through it until it all clicks at the very end of the movie.

Ever since his first collab with the Lonely Island, Michael Bolton has been leaning hard into being a weirdo and it's so, so great.

One of the best action movies in recent years. Also maybe single-handedly responsible for the Keanu Reeves renaissance, which I am 100% on board with.

A better musical than La La Land by MILES. Extremely fun music, and maybe the only movie I've ever seen where monstrous girls just get to be monstrous.

Astounded by the structure of this movie. One of those things that has to be taken as a whole, and not piece by piece. I've been finding it a little more striking in retrospect, thinking less about the nature of language and more about the nature of love.

Also, those heptapods are majorly cute.

This movie is still so good. Love watching Bruce Willis cry, love watching Sam L. Jackson not be Nick Fury, love superhero narratives that are based in intensely normal worlds.

This movie couldn't decide whether it wanted to be Ride Along or The Departed but I still had a fine time.

I would give this movie two or three stars if it weren't for the last MINUTE.
