even though i just rewatched this again a few days ago; this is what i needed right now. i was having such a shitty day today, i had a migraine,  was crying in class, and i just didn’t know what to do with myself. this movie made everything so much better. all wes anderson movies somehow lift my spirts so damn much. they always leave me crying with tears of joy, smiling for hours afterwords, and they always make me have songs stuck in my head. this movie was always one of my favorites from when i was younger, and i feel like it’s something that will always hold up and always resonate with me. i relate with EVERY main character in this movie (mainly ash 💕,) and it really touches my heart. everything about this is beautiful. 
if you haven’t seen this, i'm begging you, please watch it. it’s something you’re guaranteed to if you like wholesomeness, stop motion, amazing humor, relatable characters, an empowering message, etc. these 88 minutes have helped shape me as an individual and i'm so thankful for it (:
