finding out this was the first post 9/11 hollywood production rocked me to my core

i fear we don’t yet fully understand the extent of the damage sam levinson is inflicting on our culture

i don't know if this is a movie so much as it is a community theater production of someone's fanfiction but i do need to see, at minimum, five more hours of corey stoll as junior

my favorite part was the fundamental misunderstanding and astonishing overuse of instagram live

nicole i’m so sorry but this story did not feel perfect and powerful

no offense to hugo weaving but if i never see his face again it will be too soon

neo and trinity look like the kind of couple that would co-write an article for vice with a headline like “we’re both bisexual. we’re in a straight passing relationship. here’s how we stay connected to the queer community”

i understand it was the '80s but they could've cut the flowing white curtain budget (at the very least) in half. love a surprise dafoe moment tho

i have a lot of questions about how an old man could possibly be capable of all this and also something something about how the original is what it is because of the way it effectively builds up so much tension with silence and distance and vibes and manages to do it all without any gore but i’m honestly most focused on the fact that the lil girlie kept calling laurie GRANDMOTHER???????? THAT’S WHAT YOU’VE NATURALLY DECIDED TO CALL YOUR GRANDMA???????
