Kane Bumpers’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film worked pretty much as well as I had hoped. Nic Cage, Alex Wolff, and Adam Arkin were all phenomenal, like each of them had such a distinct aspect to their performance that made them stick out in the best possible way. The shot selection was pretty nice and the direction was really professional for a feature debut. My only minor problem is that some of the writing felt a bit more on-the-nose than I was expecting. That being said, the screenplay seemed to overall perfectly encapsulate the energy necessary to give the film raw emotion and a light heart.
