Infinity Pool

Infinity Pool ★★★½

Brandon Cronenberg's much-anticipated "Infinity Pool" delivers on much of the hype that has been established from the trailers and his previous filmography. Alexander Skarsgård and Mia Goth are two of the biggest talking points here; both of them deliver some of their finest work to date. The visuals here are very nice–often times due to the lighting–and the editing ties the story together nicely. Despite the interesting concept, I would say there is a bit of payoff missing from the conclusion. The plot progression and the circumstances that the characters found themselves in didn't always work for me, although I would say all of the technicals were sufficient. This is certainly an interesting film, I just wish a movie of such insanity had struck me harder.
