Silent Night, Deadly Night 1984
The backstory and motive of the killer is really good, IDGAF what anyone says. At least you know why hes doing this and you're like well I think I understand. The kills are great, theres gratuitous nudity and there's laughs. Theres also a montage. This is fun 80's schlock.

I'm Thinking of Ending Things 2020
Too dumb to understand this. Said as much out loud when the movie ended and my friends confidently explained the synopsis, and I literally did not pick up on any of it. Hellraiser 1987
Another classic that I've just never gelled with. There's quite a bit I do love about the movie. I love how mean and twisted it is, I love a lot of the ideas, I think it blends fantasy and horror better than a lot of its familiars. I love that little monster in the nightmare hallway.
