Blends the darkness of The Suicide Squad w the playfulness of the previous entires. Gunn knows how to balance the dynamics of these super teams so well, even when they’re separated in the story. It’s not perfect but it incapsulated the magical feeling I had watching Guardians 1 on opening day after my summer string recital and guess that’s all I could ask for.
