I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore

I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore ★★★

I mainly watched this to see Melanie Lynsky, who was Kate Winslet's co-star in their breakout film Heavenly Creatures, and she is utterly delightful. It's a dark comedy that wants to be a Coen brothers crime caper, and it works well enough early on as a quirky indie kind of thing, but then it gets too serious and tries to go Tarantino, which tonally doesn't work, and it all feels kind of derivative. Nice to see Elijah Wood playing a fun character, though.
