Gaia ★★★

Best consumed on drugs for sure, but while the film is certainly putting a lot out there, and has a lot of good tension, scares, and wild imagery, I don't think that the whole thing comes together all that well by the end.

Bizarrely, they also chose an immediate post-credit sequence that could've just served as a natural ending before bringing up the closing title card. As it plays out, the whole thing just feels tacked on and clunky. Really odd choice.

Would definitely still recommend horror folks take a look, and the fantasy crowd would be interested as well. Again, definitely on drugs, especially for the incredible sound design and score, both combined make for the most powerful part of the movie.
