    It's better than the Harlin film, but it's an unpolished, unfinished work. They gave Schrader peanuts for finishing funds after fucking him over the first time, and that lowballing hurt it. On the plus side, that means that unlike Exorcist: The Beginning, it's absent of any horrendous CGI landscapes which is one of the biggest eyesores of Renny Harlin's awful film.

    But this isn't without its own share of dreadful computer graphics, like that one shot of the hyenas threatening…

    I love both cuts of this equally. Each has things I like about it. The 4K of this looks and sounds stupendous, by the way. WB continues their track record of putting out really solid UHD discs.
