deeper and deeper into the dark we go. the light from the comfort above fades slow, and the pressure in your head pushes you further downward. then a great light beams everywhere in this place full of mystery and discomfort. here is a glowing heart of movement and understanding. we could destroy each other, but why not just be good to each other? why not love each other? we had to come. there is no other way, we know this. we have to fight to love and live. all is beautiful here.
it’s very easy to lose all confidence in yourself and your instincts when the world around you gets messy. you feel lost and helpless - so there’s a true beauty in believing in yourself and in the communities around you.

angel never misses. incredible piece on the value of loss, love, and navigating who you are in a world that constantly seems unfamiliar and perhaps unfair.
this alone affected me far more than most films i’ve seen (at least in the past year or so), maybe it’s because angel is one of my favorites and the music bangs but i do also think this was really well written and directed.
the voice memos killed to hear. the situation is devastating, tangled,…
