Considering this is supposed to be cult propaganda, I’d love to know why they chose Hermes of all people as the main character when their story focuses on Minos as the main villain and the obvious character they should’ve used is Theseus. Is their leader just a Hermes stan? Why not use a myth that Hermes was actually the main character of and give him godly powers if you’re supposedly his reincarnation? Did they just want a symbolic tie-in by naming him as the father of Eros while he’s giving a speech about spreading the love? Literally could’ve used anyone else or a Care Bear.
One of the absolute worst Barbie movies. Everyone has obnoxious accents and for no reason everyone sides with Lumina even though she's given them no reason to trust her. Half of it doesn't make sense and the other half is just painful. I cried inside when the awful pop song started.
The early Barbie movies actually had effort, this one's a prime example of how sloppy and soulless they've become.
Hailey was the only redeemable character, but Kristyn absolutely deserves to suffer. I really want reality to give her a big slap in the face because no one would ever hire someone as unreliable as her, especially if she's not even better than the current star ballerina . Barbie movies like to send the message of being yourself but this movie promotes ignorant rebellion.
