Yes, yes, a thousand time yes... this is fantastic.

I went in expecting a boring biopic about a royal celebrity already over-analyzed to death and instead got one of the best films of 2021. Kristen Stewart truly gives a transformative, electric, impossible performance and I love her so much for it. This film is disorienting and isolating to the point that it feels like horror. It's shot beautifully, the editing is insane and all the performances are great. It's engaging throughout and builds to a final scene that made me laugh and cry when I put it into perspective. It also includes one of the best uses of a song I've seen in some time.
