I really, really love Matthew Lillard. Is it just me?
Got the urge to watch this after seeing the new one and I'm finally giving Scream five stars because damn is it perfect. It might be the best casting in horror history, the characters are interesting, the commentary was groundbreaking and is still fun, and the structure of the film is flawless. It's probably one of the best paced films I've ever watched and the direction is a master class in how to create tension and while it has been copied, it has never been surpassed.
It's the apex of fun horror thrillers.
