Who are the people that write reviews complaining about jump scares and meta humor in this? Like I get not liking it, and if you want to watch the movie even though you won't like it good for you, but that's like writing a review for Friday the 13th part VI and being like "ugh, Jason's still killing people? geez."

If you're going to do a part IV, which I don't think should happen, I'm glad it was done like this. Halloween H20 and Halloween (2018) are like this as well where it's just like "hey remember that franchise you love? Let's revisit some characters you like, add some new tracks, and do some greatest hits with a slightly modern touch." This is just a super well-made fan film and I'm fine with that. Honestly, I really loved watching them riff on parts of the first three and I like that Alison Brie scene which would have been an awesome prologue to an Urban Legends film as well.

If you hate these films, that's fine, but I still don't think there is a franchise that does this better and I'll always take this over some pure remake which would have been horrible. This goes meta on meta hahaha.
