When a guy shot a soccer ball I knew things were on.

City of God shows why cinematography, acting, storytelling, editing, directing and sound are all important to making an epic and groundbreaking film. It's great. I can't speak to the film's authenticity but I can say that City of God made me feel and made me think... a lot. I don't know, it's hard to just keep saying a movie is great over and over but that's what this movie is... great.
