Congratulations to Charlotte Wells for hitting a grand slam on her first feature length film. Do you know how hard it is to accurately represent the awkwardness and intimacy of parenting in a way that's approachable and deep without being hokey and overly sentimental? IT'S REALLY FUCKING HARD and this movie does it like it's nothing. Paul Mescal is the world's new dad and Frankie Corio is the new best actor to ever exist... how the fuck is this her first movie?

Perfect film, new all time favorite.
