Mmm. I don't know how to feel about this one. I had super high hopes for The Grand Budapest Hotel to be one of my favorites of all time: all the hype and the story itself made me feel that way. But then... I mean... It was definitely not what I was expecting.
I liked it but I didn't think it was phenomenal. The performances were very catchy, and the score and production design were great as well. However, the story was extremely boring. Maybe it was the storytelling style or something like that, but I just don't think this film was for me.
At the end of the day, I thought The Grand Budapest Hotel was fine, but it wasn't my kind of movie.
