    ★★★½

Technically brilliant and divinely executed; however, with a lack of the magic characteristic of Damien's two previous works. While First Man is, as an individual, a magnificent product, I think it falls short of Chazelle's earlier filmography.

    A Quiet Place Part II

    ★★★★½

I liked the first movie, but A Quiet Place Part II gets all my applause. It was wondrous. Nothing bad that stands out. In fact, everything in this film was technically perfect. First-rate suspense. The four protagonists: chef's kiss.

    The Woman in the Window

    ★★½

Oh, Amy Adams. Welcome to the good for her cinematic universe. So close yet so far from the Oscar. This time wasn't either. Unfortunately, your majestic talent was overshadowed by a regular film that seeks to be everything but fails strongly in the attempt.

    The Silence of the Lambs

    ★★★★½

The Silence of the Lambs filled my expectations. The beauty of this film, among many other things, falls on the naturalness of Jodie Foster and Sir Anthony Hopkins. Their performances don't need melancholy scenes where they demonstrate a thousand emotions to win an Oscar. On the contrary, subtle looks and smart dialogues are enough so that the characters protrude and remain icons for the history of cinema. Excellent in every way.
