The first one was still fresh, the new one is reeling off the same worn-out formulas and rules for the sixth time.

At the beginning of the series they made original meta-gags about horror clichés, but in the meantime they have become clichés themselves.

A phone rings, a distorted voice asks "What's your favorite horror movie", teenagers, meta-humor, the rules are explained, whodunit and the big reveal, in between a few kills you've seen a hundred times before.

One or two things were alright - but that's about it. This is probably only interesting for real fans, although even they should be fed up by now.

Personally, I feel absolutely nothing at all except inner emptiness.

Der Erste war noch frisch, der Neue spult zum sechsten Mal die gleichen, ausgelutschten Formeln und Regeln ab.

Zu Beginn der Reihe hat man originelle Meta-Gags über Horror-Klischees gemacht, mittlerweile ist man selbst zum Klischee geworden.

Ein Telefon klingelt, eine verzerrte Stimme fragt: "Was ist dein Lieblings Horrorfilm", Teenager, Meta-Humor, die Regeln werden erklärt, Whodunit und der große Reveal, dazwischen ein paar Kills, die man schon hundert Mal gesehen hat.

Ein, zwei Sachen waren ganz nett - das war's dann aber auch. Das ist wohl nur noch für echte Fans interessant, wobei selbst die eigentlich so langsam die Schnauze voll haben sollten.

Ich persönlich fühle dabei absolut gar nichts mehr außer innere Leere.
