WOOOOOOW I’M IMPRESSED. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga give fantastic performances! It’s very well directed and the music is top notch. Didn’t expect myself to really like this one as much as I did but it’s just that good.

  • Venom

    ★★½

Okay... this wasn’t as bad I was expecting. Every scene with Eddie Brock/Venom was great, and some of the action sequences were fun to watch, but the entire film felt rushed, lots of the dialogue was cringe, the CGI was ehh, and the villain was miscast, easily. Did I mention the first 20 mins were so boring... Still a fun watch though. Easily could’ve been a bit better if it had it’s R-rating too.

The CGI was shit, I enjoyed some of the kills though. Overall, it’s incredibly messy and all over the place.

If psychedelics were a film, this would be it. Both a good trip & a bad trip meshed together resulting in a confusingly beautiful, yet rewarding slow-paced watch. Nick Cage is fucked.

Mixed bag. very fast paced, and the cinematography was probably my favorite aspect out of the entire film. Performances are decent as well. But oh hello jump scares, we meet again. Some sequences are really intense, but for the majority, this film was NOT scary.

Twist after twist after twist, safe to say I enjoyed this one quite a bit, and John Cho gives a fantastic performance

The editing and soundtrack kept me hooked throughout the entire runtime, Spike Lee’s direction is fantastic, the performances were great, and overall is just a really sad and funny film that heavily revolves around racism in the past and mostly nowadays.

Denis Villeneuve’s piss drenched psychological thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal is fucking GREAT! I’ve rewatched this so many times and it still holds up on every viewing.
