Okay you know what, I really fucking enjoyed this one a lot, certain scenes just threw me off by a mile but the characters and the film's setting were interesting and kept me hooked for the entirety of the runtime. It's beautifully directed and has fantastic performances by its two main leads, Timothee Chalamet and Armie Hammer. It was just a great love story and I'm usually not fond of these types of films but this one just struck the chord for me. The message of this film at least for me was that not everything lasts forever and someone or something you love can be temporary whether we like it or not.
