Black Christmas 2019
Thanks to Joe Bob Briggs I knew this was gonna suck. My wife and daughters rented it from Redbox without knowing this. We will generally watch about anything, especially trashy horror films. Less than 30 minutes in and we unanimously decided to pull the plug on this dumpster fire of a movie.

There’s a reason this is a cult classic. It feels eternally current in a weird way. Really it’s just the epitome of camp, well paced and as perverse as any movie ever made.

Basket Case 1982
Well I watched this for the second time in less than a month. This time with Joe Bob Briggs and all the context that he brings to a film. Learning that this movie was made for 36k and is a tribute to the 42nd street NYC culture of the time plus the fact that it would have never been seen by any audience in its uncut gonzo form if not for the producers taking Joe Bob’s off hand advice makes it all the more legendary. Still the worst. Brother. Ever.
