I decided to end the month of October by rewatching all the four “scream” films we got so far.
An iconic horror movie that dominated the genre in the 90′s and revitalized a new generation of slasher films and gave us the best horror opening in history. Wes Craven’s “scream” 1996 masterpiece has held a spot in my heart for a long time. I really have no grievances with this movie. I don’t think it could be done any better. While there’s always room for improvement, I don’t really see the need for it here. From the way it was written to the cast, to the technicals, it was a perfect storm that created a timeless classic that revamped the horror genre. The design of Ghost face, the killer, is iconic and probably one of my favorite designs in a horror movie ever.
