Mirror ★★★★★

I never know what to say about this film solely because it's genuinely the single most emotive piece of cinema ever created and it is literally perfect as well; I'm not sure that I buy into the concept of 'flaw' with this film; as in I cannot rationally process the idea that there could even be an issue perceived with this. The most immediately striking moment is taken from somewhere in the annals of this central character's emotive consciousness and we see a phone call; his father speaking of a lost cause or a lost love. She had red hair, cut to a woman with red hair walking away from the child in the snow, leaving him alone, abandoned. It as at our most volatile and vulnerable that we feel the most. That's important.

This is a film that feels awful to watch because I know there must be times when I am not watching this film.
