Joshua Mata’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ve never understood the hype for LaKeith Stanfield like I’ve seen him in a few movies but nothing stood out to me as a great performance. After watching this I have found the performance that proved to me he is a great actor and deserves all the praise he gets and so much more. Daniel Kaluuya was also great in this though I didn’t think he was better than LaKeith but still held up and both gave it there all. The story is so devestating everyone needs to see this because I’ve never even heard about this historical moment until watching this movie.
