Another Round is the latest film from Thomas Vinterberg, a hazy, dreary, beautiful creation that delves so deep into its characters and explores the human mind in such a meaningful and yet, refreshingly fun way. This might just be the most entertaining film of the year, and for good reason. Mads Mikkelson delivers an explosively human performance, every slur, every fall, every movement, feels so convincing, so real. And god that ending is so unexpectedly perfect, best final shot of the year, absolutely glorious.
