    The French Dispatch

I was waiting for my rewatch to fully form my thoughts, so here they are.

On the surface, The French Dispatch serves to profile the oddball expatriate journalists that occupy this storied offices, but at its core, it delivers a deep examination of the the harshness and beauty of what these gifted writers could capture and what they went through to capture it. These human truths are found in moments that to fully grasp, you had to have been there…

Timothee brooding around for a cool 2 and a half, god-level filmmaking from Villeneuve, and the ultimate set-up for what may be (at this pace) the best sci-fi story ever put to screen!

Every detail of this movie is on a jaw-droppingly  massive scale and few hands are skilled enough to undertake this; the sheer magnitude of the story everyone said couldn’t be adapted into a film. In comes the king, making it looks easy. Denis’ skills are on full…

Just finished this last night and man, this shit broke me. As expected, this story hit so hard because of how deeply person it all feels combined with the unimaginable scale of these atrocities. Doesn’t necessarily give the most satisfying of endings, but certainly sheds light on the ongoing battle against the opioid epidemic.

    Wow. Just wow.

This was the only thing I could think throughout this amazing movie. I have never been so blown away by a movie for as long as I can remember. As a film lover, as well as a person with eyes, this movie was just on another level.

From a technical standpoint, there is no better movie than this one. The techniques used to actually make and film this movie are unbelievable. There were certain…

After hearing mixed reviews, I went in unsure of how much I'd like this movie, but shame on me for doubting Marvel. This movie was even better than I expected. Not only was it a great sequel, but it also had a lot of new pieces that really worked. The biggest of which was The Wasp who was a complete bad-ass and a great addition to the Avengers.
My favorite part of the Ant Man series is the humor, and…
