Let’s casually gather some of the best actors to ever live and throw them into the cut-throat world of sales.
David Mamet’s classic translates perfectly to screen. An easy watch that has some iconic lines, and the acting…wow. This was so fun.

The reason this movie fails is because it’s missing two key components: a writer and a director.
This one is tough.
Brendan Fraser is just as great as you’ve heard. His performance drives the film. With any other actor in the part this wouldn’t have worked, there’s a certain undefinable quality that Fraser has which makes the work feel grounded and authentic.
I see a lot of blame tied to Darren Aronofsky for being insensitive, but I think it’s bigger…
My rating is purely personal. Respect the hell out of Wes Anderson for his movies. I do think he’s one of a kind and his movies are so satisfying to watch.
But, like the few others I’ve seen by him, I just couldn’t connect to this. Though I can agree that the iconic Ben Stiller line at the end was so heartfelt.
