    She Said

A very well made and powerful movie, I didn’t expect this to be as good as it was but it was very good. Zoe Kazan and Carey Mulligan both give Oscar worthy performances and I really hope at least one of them get the recognition they deserve. The film also does a great job at showing the events as they unfolded and the film can sometimes feel like a documentary which I thought was done very well.

Overall a very well made film that I think everyone should see and will hopefully get some award recognition.

Also, Harvey Weinstein is a piece of shit!

Just watch the live action movie instead.

  • Troll

Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected. It definitely takes a lot of inspiration from the Godzilla series, mainly the Monsterverse stuff and a little from 98 as well, but it takes the aspects from those movies that I really like, the fun aspect and the build up to seeing the monster. The Troll is really cool, we’ve never seen a monster movie to my knowledge with a giant troll, so this was really different and honestly it worked…

  • Rodan

A favorite of mine that I always love rewatching, another masterpiece from Honda and one of the all time great Tokusatsu movies!

Still one of the best Godzilla films out there, amazing effects, characters, story and it all comes together to make one amazing film!

My Monster Ivara: -case of extra-

For an independent short film, I gotta admit this was really well done. The CGI can be pretty spotty, but you can tell there was a ton of heart and effort put into it and it shows. Such a gem for the “Kaiju Renaissance” we are currently in! Definitely check this out because this was a real treat for a 7 minute run time.

    The Menu

A huge surprise! I was really intrigued by all the trailers for this one, but I wasn’t sure how it’d play out, but I really loved this one.
The cast is just fantastic here, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicolas Hoult and Ralph Fiennes all do an incredible job, and Fiennes better be in contention for best supporting actor because he acts his ass off. The film is also really funny when it really shouldn’t be and very entertaining. I don’t wanna go…

  • Devotion

Surprised by how much I ended up enjoying this, it’s not a perfect film but it’s really good. It’s really entertaining, emotional and overall a good time at the movies. It’ll most likely be overshadowed by Top Gun Maverick which I love, but this is definitely a movie to check out in the theaters if you can. The whole cast does an amazing job and Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell have amazing chemistry. See it if you can!

    Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster

While it does suffer some issues like pacing and Godzilla/Rodan looking absolutely terrible, this film will forever be iconic for introducing King Ghidorah and the film is absolutely badass, a film I’ll always love revisiting.

    Mothra vs. Godzilla

Still one of the best Godzilla films ever, a perfect match of a great human story and some amazing monster action. Masterpiece!

    WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2022

Fantastic event, my first time watching a War Games match as I had never seen any of them during the NXT days a few years back, and it did not disappoint! By far the worst match of the night was Ronda Rousey vs Shotzi. Just feels like every time Ronda steps into the ring it’s just an absolute mess, all of her matches since Wrestlemania have left a bad taste in my mouth, so I’m really hoping either Charlotte Flair…
