  The script and the performances were pretty good but such boring direction. The tense moments don’t feel any different stylistically than any other moment. Based on the Q&A, part of that is probably because of COVID and a short shooting schedule but it really shows.

  Nice to see Zach Braff in person when I don’t have a high school level obsession with him anymore.

  We need to stop pretending that Batman isn’t at least a little silly. If a man dressed like that came up to me and I asked him who he was and he said “I am vengeance” I’d probably laugh at that. It’s a silly thing to say.

  Bo Burnham is one of my all time favorite comedians, but I think looking back at his old specials there are lots of bits that don’t age well on a rewatch. I think this special will not age well, but for entirely different reasons, and I think somewhat on purpose.
