“Just let me eat my fucking banana”- Danny Meyerowitz 

As I watch more of Noah Baumbach’s filmography, it’s becoming clear to me that he is definitely one of the better screenwriters in Hollywood. His scripts are always the standouts for me in his films.

The Meyerowitz Stories is a film about a quirky family that comes together. The script allows the actors to have a lot of charm and chemistry. Adam Sandler, Elizabeth Marvel, Ben Stiller, and Emma Thompson are all really great. The standout performance though, is easily Dustin Hoffman. He’s just so great. 

The film thrives on its cast of characters and writing. It’s a joy to watch and it’s pretty entertaining, mostly because of the performances.
