Straight ahead, some jokes are a bit outdated but this film and its characters seem to be self aware of this dry and embarrassing brand of humor. Think Napoleon Dynamite meets that New Zealand brand of humor. This film has heart and humor.

When Claude Got Shot 2021
This is a tough watch for many, a lot of real life triggers being confronted but in a safely paced manor. Going through the events of this documentary with Claud and his family was heartbreaking and perspective shifting at the same time. It’s hard not to let this film hit home and it does a wonderful, emotional job connecting with an audience.

Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey 2022
This was a really incredible documentation of the FLDS community. As someone with a particular interest in the subject, it was still very hard to stomach even things I already knew about. There are some really personal and powerful interviews that pace this story in such a way that I felt trapped just in some minuscule way just as these women were by the men in their community. Take your time with this one, strong sexual assault topics discussed.
