Of a series already leagues above it’s shoot-em-up peers, this one is perhaps one of America’s finest forays into beautiful carnage. An electric world in which blood is the true currency and friendship is both an incredible gift and tragic curse. Where everyone lives until death by gun, blade, arrow or fist do they part. John Wick: Chapter 4 reminds us of these heavy terms in ways the franchise hasn’t since the first. And it’s just fucking glorious.
