I don’t find this to be exploitive. There’s so much here about the way we hide from ourselves and what we sacrifice to feel loved, trying to find love despite the amount of hurt you’ve been through, how we create artifice to protect ourselves from hurt again almost instinctively, it absolutely broke my heart seeing her float from relationship to relationship, situation to situation trying to discover something to latch on to that hopefully is the one that will protect her and give her the love she deserves.
