Blade Runner

Blade Runner ★★★★★

What if when you woke up this morning, it was the first time you’ve ever woken up, what if everything else you remember is just implanted memories? It’s a scary thought, and it’s extremely likely to be false, but in a world where it’s entirely possible, how can you be sure of anything, even your own existence.
Blade runner explores these themes with such incredible detail and thought, which is what makes it so original. I have the book, I might start reading it soon. I think Blade Runner is a film that lends itself to being deeply analysed, so I’m going to watch it at least once again before I go into more depth, I’m watching the second one tomorrow so really excited for that too.
I’ll just say the whole tears in rain scene is one of my favourite scenes in any movie ever, it really makes the film what it is and it’s just perfect in every way.
