Joseph M.’s review published on Letterboxd:
A rather frustrating experience. I feel like Christian Tafdrup is trying to make a statement on passivity ? There’s just no way I can fathom why these characters are so infuriatingly passive throughout this whole ordeal.
Every part of you is screaming for the characters to do something! Get out of there! Fight back! And that in and of itself is an experience inherent to the horror genre. But here seems to take it to a new level of frustrating. It’s all so mean - So serious and moody. Yet by the end so many questions are let unanswered, and personally I am left feeling unaffected.
