  Yeah, it fucking rips. 

  Every single trap is disgusting and heinous. The writers really had fun with this one. 

  It’s remarkable how fresh this entry feels given it’s the 10th! We’ve done away with the cop/detective format of the franchise, and shifted full focus to John Kramer and Amanda. Their dynamic is built upon wonderfully and surely will aid in future viewings of Saw II and III.

  Seed of Chucky 2004

  This is fully Jennifer Tilly’s movie. 
  Don Mancini gives her so much to have fun with and my goodness does she have fun!

  John Waters’ cameo makes me laugh out loud every time. 
  A truly bizarre, queer, and ridiculous entry in the franchise. Glen/Glenda is the first non-binary killer doll horror icon. History was made. Thank you, Don.

  Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City 2021

  Oh man, I think I’m going to be in the minority here but I genuinely felt this movie puts forth a valiant effort. At times it even succeeds at being eerie and creepy. It fully feels like a video game adaption, probably for better and worse.

  So much of this reminded me of Silent Hill (2006) - how focused it is on recreating the world and iconic scenes known by fans from their respective video games. Maybe it does try to pack in too much fan service, but the end result is still a swift and entertaining adaptation.
