A really really well made and fantastic looking film, Da 5 Bloods is Spike Lee's newest film after the excellent BlacKkKlansman. I am fascinated by the Vietnam War and to see the narrative presented so differently to films like Deer Hunter and Apocalypse Now was refreshing. 

Whenever the 2021 Oscars happen, Delroy Lindo absolutely deserves a nomination, this is the best performance that I've seen from this years films so far.

Don't think this film could have been released at a more apt time within the current climate, as Lee makes it clear, the "war" is not over...
